One simple payment for a full year of membership. This includes access to a full calendar of guided walks, foraging days, and bushcraft workshops — most of which are completely free to members.
Some special events — like camping or third-party activities such as canoeing, archery, or climbing — may carry a small extra fee. But there are no hidden costs and no surprises — just honest, affordable access to the outdoors.
20+ events per year
We run guided walks, foraging experiences, bushcraft workshops, and other seasonal adventures throughout the South West and Wales, and occasionally further beyond — with at least 20 events each year and more being added as the community grows.
From wild picnics to woodland skills, every event is designed to be welcoming, beginner-friendly, and rooted in a love for the land. You can join as many as you like with your membership — no limits, no pressure.

As a Fireside Member, you’ll unlock access to a growing calendar of special events that aren’t listed publicly — including cosy campouts, seasonal socials, and relaxed gatherings that go beyond our regular meetups.
We also host longer trips and activity-based days just for members — such as canoeing, archery, climbing, wild swimming, or overnight bushcraft experiences. These events offer a chance to explore more, go deeper, and enjoy the outdoors in good company.
Some of these add-on adventures may come with a small additional fee to cover third-party providers, venue hire, or equipment — but we always keep things affordable and transparent.
These moments are about slowing down, sharing stories, and building deeper connections with like-minded people who value nature, community, and time well spent. They're often the most memorable parts of the Fireside experience — and they're only available to members.
